May I ask a question, since my Danish is kind of insufficient ... What is the meaning of ""Det er sjældent anderledes”? Does it mean "it's almost always like this" or does it mean that when she becomes interested in someone as a person it doesn't necessarily lead to loosing the sexual attraction for that very person.
Direkte oversat til engelsk: "it is rarely otherwise".
Shit, that's really sad.
I kind of hoped "anderledes" ment "opposite", so that this person at least could be fysically attracted to someone and then get a more personal interest in this "object of desire" without loosing the attraction. But obvoiusly not. Talk about bad sexual experience! I mean ... if it makes you loose interest in someone that you initially saw potentials in (to love or friendship). Personally (maybe this isn’t the place to get personal, but anyhow) personally sex couldn’t have such a significant impact for me, only words can. Things people say can make them unattractive in a second.
